Once again this year, Artelia was well represented at the Association québécoise des transports (AQTr) convention, held at the Centre des Congrès de Saint-Hyacinthe. It was a great opportunity to network with other key players in the Quebec transportation and sustainable mobility industry.
This year’s theme was “The road to transportation carbon neutrality”, and over 600 participants gathered to exchange ideas and showcase Quebec’s transportation expertise. During the 3 days of the congress, our delegation of about twenty colleagues proudly represented Artelia by attending the numerous conferences on topics related to carbon neutrality.
Our Department Manager – Mobility, Karla Gamboa, had the pleasure of presenting the conference: “Integrating cellular data into microsimulation software for active transportation”. Offered jointly with Civilia’s Xavier Prudent, the objective of this presentation was to explore recent advances in the field of urban transportation modeling, as well as to examine the implications of using cellular data to improve the accuracy and relevance of simulations. This sharing of knowledge was much appreciated by those who attended, and demonstrated our skills in the field.
Many thanks to all our colleagues who attended the conference and enriched their knowledge on the challenges of carbon neutrality in the transportation and mobility industry.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
