On September 26, 30 Artelia colleagues took part in the 20th edition of the Relais Desjardins du Lac Memphrémagog, a sporting and philanthropic event. Divided into five teams of six people, they tackled a demanding 110 km course totalling 1,832 metres of elevation gain, on a beautiful fall day. This mobilization raised more then $13,000 for the Christian Vachon Foundation, whose mission is to support the school perseverance and educational success of young people.
At dawn, the participants took to the start, with two teams starting at 6 a.m. and three others at 7 a.m., ready to take on this major challenge together. Although many participants did not know each other before the event, team spirit quickly set in. The encouragement between colleagues, the determination of everyone and the fun shared along the way helped make this day a memorable experience.
This edition will be remembered above all for the exceptional mobilization of our teams, the solidarity between colleagues and the concrete contribution to a cause that makes a difference in the community. Congratulations to all the participants!
