The recently completed reconstruction and widening of the Rivest Bridge in Repentigny represents one of the most important projects ever undertaken by the municipality. Built in 1966, the bridge is a vital link between the northern and southern sectors of the city, and is crossed by almost 30,000 vehicles every day. The aim of the renovation was to modernize the structure by replacing the aging slab, widen the bridge from two to four lanes, and integrate infrastructure promoting active transportation, such as a sidewalk and a multi-purpose path. These improvements will enhance safety and traffic flow, while complying with strict environmental standards due to its proximity to the L’Assomption River.
Our team was commissioned to oversee this complex project, which included the demolition and widening of the bridge, the relocation of infrastructure such as a section of aqueduct, and stormwater management. We managed every phase of the project, from materials control to traffic management, ensuring minimal disruption to users and local residents. Thanks to the collaboration of our signage, environmental and surveying teams, as well as close coordination with local authorities, we met strict safety and environmental standards, contributing to the success of this major project for the city of Repentigny.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
