The new Université de Sherbrooke Institut quantique pavilion marks a turning point in the field of quantum science and technology in Canada. This avant-garde building will bring together researchers from a variety of disciplines under one roof, offering collaborative spaces designed specifically to foster innovation and education in quantum information science, physics and engineering. With its design inspired by the dilution refrigerator, essential to quantum research, this pavilion embodies an innovative approach that is both functional and symbolic.

Commissioned by the Université de Sherbrooke, our team of experts in geotechnics, materials engineering and energy efficiency played a crucial role in the realization of this project. We carried out geotechnical studies, controlled the quality of construction materials, and optimized the building’s energy efficiency. Thanks to rigorous planning and in-depth technical expertise, we were able to meet the project’s objectives, helping to make this pavilion a world-renowned research center.
