The water management project at the Mont-Right mine was designed to ensure effective management of runoff water on the site. It involved the construction of a 3.5 km drainage ditch, followed by the installation of a measuring station and a diffusion basin. A major diversion canal was built to convey the water and support the construction of the ditch. Treatment basins were also planned for later installation. This project was carried out under particularly difficult spring and autumn working conditions, requiring great flexibility and rigorous monitoring.
Artelia was commissioned to manage and supervise part of the work. Our services included continuous monitoring, control and tracking of quantities, as well as constant technical support throughout the execution of the work. We also ensured that the plans were adapted to the existing terrain, thus guaranteeing that the work was carried out in compliance with environmental requirements, and that the natural environment was protected throughout the construction phase.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
