The Réseau Express Vélo (REV) on Saint-Antoine is part of the City of Montreal’s ambitious plan to improve active and sustainable mobility in urban areas. This project, covering a structuring axis linking Guy Street to Square-Victoria, is strategic for the circulation of cyclists and pedestrians, while taking into account existing infrastructures and Montreal’s underground networks. The complexity of the implementation also lies in the management of highway access and the challenges associated with infrastructures belonging to the MTMD.
Artelia was commissioned to draw up the maintenance plans and specifications for the REV project, with a focus on signage, markings and traffic lights. Our team handled services ranging from surveying and site visits, to the design of traffic light plans and traffic impact management. By integrating solutions to specific constraints such as underground structures and non-standard design elements, we ensured that the project flowed smoothly while meeting the City’s stringent requirements.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
