Hydro-Québec’s Secure Multifunctional Building is an ambitious 10,000 m² project located in the greater Montreal area. This new administrative center, designed to accommodate some 300 workers, is being conceived in design-build (DB) mode, enabling optimum innovation and efficient risk distribution. The building will incorporate advanced safety features and high sustainability standards, including a green approach aiming for LEED v4 Silver certification and Uptime Institute Tier III certification for technological robustness.

Artelia has been appointed as Independent Certifier for this project. We ensure that the Secure Multifunctional Building meets the performance criteria defined in the contractual requirements and current best practices. Our role involves rigorous monitoring at every stage, including reviewing documentation, participating in audits, issuing attestations of conformity, as well as managing non-conformities and providing technical solutions in the event of disputes, thus ensuring that the building achieves the highest technical and environmental standards.
