Our Traffic Maintenance and Impact Management department addresses mobility issues in our projects

Thanks to its multidisciplinary, integrated approach, our Traffic Maintenance and Impact Management department works in synergy with our other departments to resolve mobility issues in our projects. The services we offer enable our main clients, which include the CSEM, MTMD and the cities of Montreal, Laval and Longueuil, to ensure better management and optimal maintenance of traffic flow.

In all our projects involving the road network, the maintenance and impact management team can contribute thanks to its expertise.

In addition to anticipating obstacles and detours for roadworks, our team ensures the mobility of all road users, including vehicles, trucks, buses, pedestrians and cyclists, as well as other modes of electric transport, such as motorized personal transport devices (MPTDs). Our experts also take into account the SAAQ’s pilot project on MPTDs in their documents. Our strength lies in coordination and communication with project stakeholders. For projects in Montreal, we collaborate with the boroughs and City of Montreal partners, such as public utilities, emergency services (SPVM) and transportation companies. We know how to open up several channels of communication to keep local residents informed of the progress of the work.

Are you familiar with the role of the liaison officer?

The liaison officer has become essential in recent years in response to a growing demand from clients concerned about the acceptability of projects by the parties impacted: residents, merchants, institutions, community circles, local residents, industries, etc. The liaison officer’s main role is to inform and advise the client of the project.  Its main role is to inform and act as a customer service, demonstrating autonomy, courtesy and diplomacy. As a mediator between the project and the clientele, he aims to reduce the impact of the work, and is dedicated to managing requests and complaints, taking part in site meetings and public information sessions, and producing reports. In addition, other tasks such as distributing notices of work or more specific follow-up can be added, depending on the contract, to offer a premium service to those who so wish.

Don’t hesitate to contact our team members to learn more about their specialized services and the possibilities of integrating their expertise into your projects.
