For more than 20 years, Bordeaux Métropole has been developing an ambitious tramway network to structure its urban mobility. In partnership with SYSTRA and INGEROP, we have supported the local authority in the design and construction of lines A, B, C, and D, as well as their strategic extensions, including the extension to Mérignac Airport. These major projects have enabled the creation of new lines, the adaptation of the existing network, the construction of several park-and-ride facilities, the development of cycle paths, and the modernization of stations, with the aim of meeting the growing needs for sustainable mobility in the Bordeaux metropolitan area.

As the lead contractor or key partner in the engineering consortium, depending on the phase, we were involved in all stages of the projects: preliminary studies, design, interface coordination, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning. Our teams designed and supervised the construction of transport infrastructure and systems, including urban integration, engineering structures, electrical equipment and low-voltage systems, overhead contact lines, ground power supply (APS), and signaling and communication systems. Thanks to our technical expertise and integrated approach, we have helped make the Bordeaux tramway a lever for urban transformation and a major component of an efficient public transport network.
