As part of the closure of their sites, Carrières de Saint-Dominique Ltée wanted to carry out an aerial survey to accurately determine the quantities of materials present at their five facilities in the Eastern Townships and at Carrière Saint-Dominique. The main objective was to optimize materials management based on reliable, detailed data, and to ensure an orderly transition to the end of operations.

Artelia was commissioned to carry out these photogrammetric drone surveys, generate precise 3D models, and calculate material quantities with remarkable accuracy. Covering more than 1.6 million m² and analyzing hundreds of piles of material, our team provided clear, detailed reports suitable for a variety of applications, from slope assessment to site visualization for future use. Thanks to our accredited pilots and technological expertise, this mandate was carried out rigorously and efficiently.
