The Sodicor II building is a new, modern, five-storey commercial complex offering over 9,300 m² (100,000 ft²) of rentable space, located in Quebec City. The project offers unique flexibility with office and retail space of various sizes, as well as upscale amenities such as a common outdoor terrace, conference room, daycare center, fitness center and even an underground car wash. Strategically located near major highways and Galeries de la Capitale, the complex boasts a prime location and over 316 parking spaces.

Artelia was mandated with the structural design of the building, including foundations, reinforced concrete and steel elements, as well as supervision of on-site work. Our teams met the technical challenges posed by the unique curvature of the façade and the cantilevers integrated into the structure. By adopting BIM technology with REVIT software, we optimized the design to anticipate the needs of future tenants and ensure efficient coordination between disciplines.
