The project to extend the T3 tramway in western Paris is part of a dense and strategic urban context, connecting Porte d’Asnières to Porte Dauphine over a distance of 3.2 km. Passing through the 16th and 17th arrondissements, this section serves major hubs such as Porte Maillot, the Palais des Congrès and Paris-Dauphine University, while creating new interconnections with the RER and metro networks. Carried out as a joint project by the City of Paris and the RATP (Paris Transport Authority), the project includes the addition of seven stations, two rectifier stations, signaling facilities, and a new terminus with an operations center.

As lead consultant for the project management consortium alongside SYSTRA and ATTICA, Artelia was responsible for the design and supervision of urban development works (for the City of Paris) and transport infrastructure and systems (for RATP). The team managed the project, coordinated all stakeholders, and carried out studies in several key disciplines: civil engineering for platforms and stations, electromechanical equipment, overhead contact lines, low-voltage electricity, station furniture and signage, and operations rooms. The mission also included risk, quality, environmental, and interface management, in compliance with the technical and urban requirements of a particularly constrained site.
