La Régie Valoris is committed to the creation of a modern sorting center capable of processing up to 100,000 tonnes of residual materials per year, including materials from the industrial, commercial and institutional and construction, renovation and demolition sectors, as well as those from the third municipal bin made up of residual materials after source separation. With the main objectives of reducing landfill waste, extracting high-quality recyclable and organic materials, and integrating innovative processes such as biomethanization, this project implements strategic solutions to meet environmental challenges. In addition to integrating cutting-edge technologies, the center is aiming for LEED certification, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development.

Mandated to prepare feasibility studies, plans and specifications, as well as supervise construction and start-up and obtain government approvals, our teams ensured an integrated approach covering every stage of the project. We conducted in-depth feasibility studies, characterized waste materials, developed energy strategies for biogas valorization, and simultaneously coordinated equipment selection and configuration with building design. Working closely with stakeholders, we developed optimal solutions for extracting recyclable and organic materials while respecting agreed deadlines and budgets. This project illustrates our ability to combine innovation, technical expertise and rigorous coordination for sustainable, high-performance infrastructures.
