North America’s largest multi-sector environmental event, the AMERICANA conference, took place on March 12 and 13 at the Port of Montreal’s Grand Quay. In addition to the presence of our colleagues at the various presentations, panels and at the exhibit hall, Artelia shined at the networking cocktail, with great visibility.
Some ten colleagues from the Water Treatment, Characterization and Environmental Rehabilitation and Geotechnics departments joined the 3,000 participants at this major event, whose theme this year was “The Emergency to Innovate”. Over the two days, they discussed current environmental challenges and innovative solutions with other experts and professionals from various environmental sectors. To round off the first day of the conference, they also took part in the networking cocktail party, where Artelia’s colors were omnipresent, reinforcing our presence at this convivial event.
Allison Bale, Director of the Water Treatment Department, moderated a very interesting panel on the latest innovations for optimizing water management systems. Presentations included the City of Montreal’s drinking water network optimization project, and the impact of continuous meter reading for intelligent water management.
