This fall, our teams have taken part in several major events and conferences in our various areas of expertise. These occasions have allowed us to share our expertise, foster discussions on issues facing our industry, while strengthening our presence and expanding our network within the community.
Artelia Canada was a proud partner of the 10th annual Canadian Protection Symposium, held in Toronto from November 11 to 13. This international event is unique in the electrical energy industry in terms of protection, automation, and control.
On November 4, our colleagues had the privilege of attending the Association de l’industrie électrique du Québec (AIEQ) Energy Efficiency Symposium, which brought together researchers, industry experts, consultants, and representatives from public utilities. Romain Allais, Director of Business Development in the United States, took part in the panel discussion “Energy Benchmark: Quebec and International,” where he contributed to a comparative discussion on energy performance between Quebec and other regions of the world.
We were pleased to attend the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Annual Conference, held in Montreal from November 2 to 5. This strategic gathering of the public transit industry allowed Denis Lambert, Senior Manager – Business Development in the Telecommunications Department, and Elsa Jacquesson, Project Manager in the Major Projects in Alternative Mode Department, to exchange ideas with key players in sustainable mobility and showcase our expertise in smart telecommunications, complex project management, and integrated solutions for transportation infrastructure.
On October 23 in Drummondville, Artelia took part in the Water Management Symposium as a partner of the event. Our Water Treatment Director, Allison Bale, played an active role as moderator of the panel discussion “Innovating Together: Technologies and Partnerships for Wastewater Management.”
On September 30 and October 1, Joliane Tremblay-Powell, Lisanne Beaudry, and Roxanne Dionne attended several inspiring conferences at the HR Congress held at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal. They came away with lots of ideas for improving the employee experience at Artelia!
Our colleagues representing our expertise in Building and Landscape Architecture were present from September 24 to 29 at the Montreal of the Future event, a must-attend event to discover the projects that will shape the metropolis of tomorrow. It was a great opportunity to exchange with key players in urban development and share our vision for sustainable and innovative spaces.
Our colleagues from several departments took part in career days for students at the University of Sherbrooke and the Pierre-Dupuy Professional Training Center. These events provided an opportunity to connect with enthusiastic students, discuss their career prospects, and present the opportunities available at Artelia.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
