Over the past few weeks, our teams have had the pleasure of participating in several important events, providing them with opportunities to share their expertise, discuss issues specific to their sectors, and forge valuable connections within their professional networks.

As a partner of the 60th Congress of the Quebec Transportation Association (AQTr), Artelia was proud to take part in this major industry gathering, held under the theme “Expertise Focused on the Future.” This anniversary edition provided an ideal setting to discuss the major transformations shaping mobility and transportation infrastructure in Quebec. Among the highlights, the opening luncheon hosted by Artelia set the tone for discussions, fostering exchanges from the very start of the event. Our colleague Nicolas Dahito also shared his expertise in a presentation on automated mobility in Montreal. Several colleagues also took turns at the booth to engage with participants and showcase our areas of expertise. Thank you to our colleagues who represented Artelia so well during this event.

This week, we attended the Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) Conference at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa to meet with key players in Canada’s nuclear and energy sectors and discuss the challenges facing this rapidly evolving industry. Colleagues from Artelia in France joined us, bringing expertise honed through large-scale projects in a well-established nuclear environment. Their participation sparked numerous discussions about projects and the sector’s outlook, and allowed them to meet several professionals from engineering firms, developers, and utilities in Canada. A great opportunity to build connections, showcase our expertise, and further establish our position in this evolving industry.
Our Materials Engineering team in Trois-Rivières participated in the “ABCs of Asphalt” training organized by Bitume Québec in Drummondville. This training focused on best practices in asphalt, covering manufacturing, placement, and recycling, with a particular emphasis on quality on-site. A rewarding opportunity to consolidate knowledge and stay abreast of industry best practices.

Members of the Health and Wellness Committee participated in the workplace health and wellness event “SMET in Action: Share, Inspire, Move Forward Together.” It was a particularly enriching day, featuring a workshop that fostered stimulating and productive discussions. The event also served as an opportunity to announce the winners of the 2025–2026 Distinction Awards, which recognize the best initiatives in workplace health and well-being. Our colleagues returned inspired, with many ideas for new initiatives to explore.

Our Vice President of Building, Caroline Cauchon, recently attended the Real Estate Summit, held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, as well as the Canadian Hotel Investment Conference, which took place in Toronto. These two major events brought together key players in real estate and hotel investment, offering opportunities to discuss current trends and challenges in the sector.
