As part of its ongoing commitment to improving urban mobility, promoting sustainable transportation solutions and optimizing the quality and performance of public transit services on its territory, the City of Gatineau has set up a project to implement bus preferential measures. The main objective of this project was to make bus transportation services more efficient, reliable and appealing to Gatineau residents.

The Société de Transport de l’Outaouais commissioned our team of experts in transportation planning, traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems to carry out all the studies required to implement these new bus preferential measures on four routes throughout Gatineau. The mandate included carrying out a justification study for the preferential measures to validate their feasibility and benefits, conducting the preliminary design study, producing plans and specifications, as well as providing services during the tender period, site supervision and monitoring the implementation of the measures.
