Montreal’s Olympic Park has embarked on an ambitious rehabilitation of its emblematic mast, known as the Montreal Tower, which rises up to 165 meters. Recognized as the world’s tallest inclined tower, this monument is undergoing a complete renovation of its tourist areas, including the addition of roof access from the observatory and the replacement of the funicular railway with an all-glass facility. This modernization project redefines the visitor experience while preserving the site’s heritage value.
Artelia was commissioned to provide quality control for the roof refurbishment work. Our building science experts carried out preliminary inspections of the supports and rigorous technical monitoring during the roofing work. Coordination between all those involved, as well as supervision of waterproofing and installation compliance, optimized the durability of the infrastructure while maintaining high standards of technical performance.
Driven by our values of technical excellence, proximity to clients and entrepreneurial spirit, we are more than ever determined to be a company that is useful to the world and to people, and that contributes to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
