More than a hundred of our colleagues from offices in Toronto, Longueuil, Sherbrooke, Montreal, Trois-Rivières, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Sainte-Agathe and Quebec City organized a litter picking operation near their offices. A symbolic gesture to mark Earth Day, it enabled us to reaffirm our commitment to environmental protection and inspire others to take similar initiatives.
Despite a somewhat rainy April 22 this year, nothing could stop our valiant participants. The harvest was impressive: pieces of plastic and cardboard, packaging of all kinds, unusual metal objects, dozens of cigarette butts and several masks filled our colleagues’ numerous bags. We even found two plastic garbage cans in the little wood behind the Longueuil office! After this collective effort, our participants gathered around a delicious pizza lunch, well deserved and much appreciated!
Well done to all our participants for this fine gesture for the environment.
