The new pavilion will offer multi-service facilities that comply with the latest universal accessibility standards.

Our Trois-Rivières office building experts were commissioned to design and supervise the reconstruction of the Pavillon des Seigneurs. In consortium with François Beauchesne Architecte, the Structures – Trois-Rivières and Urban Infrastructures – Centre-du-Québec departments will be involved in the project.

In January 2022, a fire completely destroyed the Pavillon des Seigneurs, a sports, recreational and community building located in the Pointe-du-Lac area of Trois-Rivières. This fast-growing area is home to many families with children and teenagers. Before the fire, the space was used for sports and recreational activities by several organizations, which had to be relocated after the fire.

The new pavilion will offer functional and accessible multiservice facilities, complying with the latest universal accessibility standards. Complementing the school service center, it will meet the growing need for gymnasiums and activities. The project also includes modular space for the Simone L. Roy library, a command post for civil security emergency measures, and an accessible youth centre. Facilities for a future zamboni and services for the skating rink are also planned. The building will be exemplary in terms of energy efficiency and sustainable architecture.

During the design phase, our teams were commissioned to carry out signage studies, design, develop and present signage concepts, and produce plans and specifications. During the construction phase, we will be in charge of providing support for professionals during construction work, checking shop drawings and change directives that could impact the building’s signage, and ensuring on-site follow-up of the installation of specific equipment.

We’re delighted to be involved in the reconstruction of this building, which will provide a multifunctional, inclusive and sustainable space for local residents.
