Within Artelia’s Urban Planning department, women actively contribute to shaping the profession, from young talent to decision-making roles. In engineering, where this reality is still too rare, we are proud to be part of the evolution towards a more representative, inclusive, and forward-looking practice.
Every day, our colleagues in Urban Planning take part in creating sustainable and humane living environments, through both large-scale real estate projects and smaller-scale community initiatives. Recently, they had the privilege of making a donation to The Parados, an essential organization that supports women who are victims of domestic violence and their children. The team is also proud to have contributed to the organization’s second-stage housing construction project, a key place for supporting women on their journey to safety and independence. Supporting the next generation of women in engineering also means recognizing the realities that women face at all levels and supporting those who are working on the ground to provide protection, support, and hope.
At Artelia, giving back to the community is an integral part of how we practice engineering and urban planning. Because beyond projects and deadlines, there are people, stories, and causes that deserve our full attention.
